Finishing the tour of Zinfandel appellations in Paso Robles, roughly half way between Monterey and Santa Barbara. Vineyard soils are depositional and residual derived from sedimentary rock. Black cherry, stewed plum, exotic barrel spice. Ripe bramble on entry, firm acid, gravelly mineral, medium-full body, round tannins, integrated oak finish.
